About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Gemma, a mom just like you—fighting through the heartbreak, navigating the same broken system, and standing strong in faith despite the challenges.

Still The Momma was born out of my own journey through the trenches of post-separation abuse, alienation, and a custody battle that felt more like a warzone. Like many of you, I was thrust into the role of “non-custodial parent” against my will, left grappling with the loss of daily connection with my kids and the continued psychological warfare of an abusive ex.

I know what it’s like to stand in a courtroom, watching the truth of your story twisted beyond recognition. I’ve experienced the sting of being misjudged by a system that often enables the very abuse it should protect us from. And I’ve felt the crushing weight of trying to heal while fighting to hold on to my role as a mother.

But here’s the truth that no court ruling can erase: I am still their momma.

Why I Started Still The Momma
This space isn’t just a blog—it’s a lifeline, a community, and a rallying cry for moms like us. I created it because I know how isolating this journey can be, and I want to remind you: you are not alone. Together, we can find hope, healing, and strength to keep fighting.

Here, you’ll find:

Faith-based encouragement to lift you up in your hardest moments.

Practical strategies for navigating the legal system and reclaiming your voice.

A community of moms who truly understand what you’re going through.

Through sharing my story, my faith, and the lessons I’ve learned, I hope to equip and empower you to keep moving forward—because your kids need you, and the world needs your strength.

You Are Still The Momma
I want you to declare it with me right now: You are still the momma. No court, no lie, no amount of manipulation can change the sacred truth that God Himself declared over you. The title “Momma” is etched into your soul by the Creator, and nothing can take that away.

Let’s walk this road together. Let’s heal, grow, and fight for what matters most.

With love, grace, and unshakable faith,
Gemma
