Hey there, beautiful ones! 🌸 Welcome to Still The Momma – a safe haven grounded in Christian Faith. Crafted for moms like us who were once fully immersed in our kids’ daily lives and now find ourselves stamped as “non-custodial parents,” barely catching a glimpse of our precious ones, if at all.
Let’s lay the truth bare– in our circumstance, this non-custodial label isn’t aligned with what’s best for the children, and it certainly doesn’t align with God’s will! 💖…. it’s the challenging aftermath of summoning the courage to break free from a mentally/psychologically/verbally/emotionally/narcissistically/SPIRITUALLY abusive spouse.
Those who were once our life partners exhibit a troubling ability to manipulate the truth for their own agenda, resorting to the most heartless method of retaliation – separating us from our children simply because we could no longer take the abuse and had the courage to leave.
And you know what’s tricky? This kind of abuse isn’t always as visible as a black eye. The courts often misinterpret the aftermath of a mom coping with the heartbreak of losing her kids and grappling with the ongoing abuse her ex continues to perpetrate. They perceive it as something entirely different. Rather than recognizing it as a symptom of the unseen horrors she faced, they view it as a sentence, unfairly deeming her unfit in comparison to the abuser.
At Still The Momma, Our mission is to stir a transformation, unveil the truth, and shine a light on these hidden struggles. We’re committed to providing a refuge that supports you, shares practical tools, and guides you through the labyrinth of challenges.
Sisters, I totally get it – that feeling of being judged and alone, carrying the weight of the very abuse we fought so hard to escape. It’s not just from outsiders but even from those within our circles, perhaps even within our church community; with the abusers eluding accountability – this injustice fueled a fire in me to create a haven—for us.
Still The Momma isn’t just a website; it’s a community, a lifeline pulsating with truth! I’ve poured my heart into building this sanctuary where every mom in this situation can grab the tools to reclaim herself! Though Still The Momma might be a newcomer, it’s geared up to be the go-to hub for all things moms in our situation.
Despite not being physically present with our kids every day or dealing with the pain of alienation, one truth stands tall – we are still their moms. The best gift? Becoming the fiercest versions of ourselves and finding healing. Through the storms, we stand firm in The Lord.
Even if our kids choose to stay alienated, it’s vital that we keep standing strong, not just for them but for ourselves and the divine plans God has for us! It’s about reclaiming our identity and paving the way to support other warrior moms, creating a community of strength, understanding, and empowerment.
At Still The Momma, we stand together because every mom deserves love, respect, and support. We also stand in faith, trusting that God has a strategic plan for us and our kids, and that He’ll never leave us hanging. We believe He can heal our broken hearts, restore relationships, and infuse hope for the future.
Welcome to a place where you are seen, heard, and embraced. Together, we’ll navigate this battlefield and emerge as the empowered, healed women and mothers we are destined to be.
In the mirror right now, declare it with me: You are Still The Momma to your kids. ❤️ No court ruling, no malicious act, can alter the divine declaration bestowed upon you by the Creator Himself. The title “Momma” is etched into the fabric of your being, sanctioned by the Almighty. It holds more weight than any misguided judgment or unjust label. Embrace it, dear sister, with the assurance that God’s declaration surpasses all earthly opinions. You are, and forever will be, Still The Momma.
With love, grace, and the unwavering belief that you are Still The Momma,
Gemma
